Eco-Adventures

Overview

"You would have needed to be there to appreciate what a tremendous success the first SEEC camp was."

-Carol Janyk, DLPP teacher
  • Tired of the same old field trips?
  • Lacking real adventure?
  • Looking for something different?
  • Want to go somewhere wild?
Take an Eco-Adventure on Saturna Island. Only 16 classes or groups a year get to explore this magical island with the Saturna Ecological Education Centre (SEEC).

SEEC is a kindergarten to grade 12 public school located on beautiful Saturna Island in British Columbia's Gulf Islands School District.

Our two full-time teachers, an incredibly talented support crew of community volunteers, and our own student ÒEnvironmentorsÓ provide leadership for visiting classes and other groups looking for a unique outdoor adventure!

We custom-design each of our Eco-Adventures based on your group's size, needs, abilities, curiosities and goals.

You decide how long you want to stay, the ecological themes you'd like to explore, what learning outcomes we can help you to develop and just how ÒwildÓ you want to be!
